Low cost option. BaseMark is what we named the service where we do the instrument marking for you, in our purpose designed facility based in Luton. We have excellent transport links to both the M1 and A1(M). Our facility is dedicated to surgical instrument marking. This provides a modern, high quality environment you will be comfortable with.
Instrument marking using the BaseMark service is ideal if you wish to have new or repaired instruments marked, which will be shipped to us on their way back to you for use. Alternatively, you would use BaseMark if you have a large enough inventory that will allow you to have instruments away from your premises for marking.
BaseMark Plus is an instrument marking service that includes a comprehensive quality check on new instruments using x15 or x 60 magnification. Includes checks for jaw closure/matching, burrs, fractures, scratches, soldering quality of inserts etc.
Our turn round time is always quick and we offer three standard service levels, to suit all needs from the relaxed to the fast track demands required. Please note that when you supply used instruments to us, they must be accompanied by a suitable Decontamination Certificate.
Our new marking facility has clearly defined Goods Inwards, Marking, Quarantine and Dispatch areas to ensure that unmarked and marked goods are not confused and a colour coding/tracking system to ensure that different customers' instruments are never mixed.
Clients can use their own transport or a courier. If required we can both collect and deliver using our own transport.
We have an extensive Quality System to ensure that all the activities we undertake are carefully controlled and subject to Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions. All of our staff is highly trained, proficient and familiar with surgical instruments and their care.
